I'm watching his show right now, featuring Al Sharpton. The topic is Don Imus - the MSNBC radio voice who called the Rutgers baskeball team, "nappy headed hos" (you know, the other guy he was talking to said far worse during the discussion). Imus was fired, and sued MSNBC for breach of contract, and the company settled.. for $20 million. Imus was fired, but $20M richer. Sounds nice, eh? He's already apparently looking to return to TV and radio on a major level. So it looks like everything's over, and we can move on with our lives. Enter Al Sharpton. And enter another lawsuit.
The Rutgers captain has decided that, since Imus received $20 million, the apology that she publicly announced was all they wanted (and received numerous times) is no longer good enough. She's now suing him for an undisclosed amount of money. Sharpton got all riled up. Beck asked him something like, "Shouldn't the decision of justification lie with God, reverend?" and Sharpton said, "No, the victims." He went on to say that she is right to sue, because just saying sorry isn't good enough. Imus needs to show sincerity.
What this apparently means is that until white Americans give every black a million dollars, we'll never be forgiven for our ancestors' driving their lives as slaves. But as soon as we do that, it'll all be okay. Hate will all be over, and we'll no longer fight.
Dave Chapelle and Chris Rock shit on white people all the time on a huge level. And guess what, we don't care. Somebody says something anti-black and the Earth stops spinning because of inequality. Maybe racial bias and 'inequality' isn't the white man's fault, anymore. But anyway, go watch Glenn Beck. He's cool.
Glenn Beck is Fantastic -
