The quest to find good music is one that can be extremely rewarding, and is highly exciting. Coming across a great artist is something that you will only find so often, and it's been awhile since we've come across anything special.. although the last band (and I'm not saying who it is, because they're just too good, I'll only tell you if I like you enough and can trust you won't spread it to those that will disgrace it) has proven to be absolute magic. I present to you, here, an invitation to get the album Angular Perceptions, by the band Thought Chamber. It's really nothing remarkable - seems to be standard progressive rock, and it's already slipped into the background as I type this, but it is a new, and talented artist. Soulseek, username: the truth is out there - Good music, but nothing new.
And then.. there's Daath. I've only given a listen to two songs off of their album The Hinderers - they're listed as black metal and death metal. I guess I can take solace in knowing that the journey is easier, if there is a good black/death metal band, I know who they are. Daath's 'The Hinderers' has intriguing album art that drew me towards it. It's absolute fucking noise. Nothing more than an obnoxious assault on the ears. Somebody, somebody please unplug the microphone.
Ho-hum-diddly -
