I'm reading the short story "Overture" right now, and I read a line that for whatever reason, jumped out. It's a very good line:
"Looking back on it from the perspective of death, he realized the futility of vengeance."

I'm watching his show right now, featuring Al Sharpton. The topic is Don Imus - the MSNBC radio voice who called the Rutgers baskeball team, "nappy headed hos" (you know, the other guy he was talking to said far worse during the discussion). Imus was fired, and sued MSNBC for breach of contract, and the company settled.. for $20 million. Imus was fired, but $20M richer. Sounds nice, eh? He's already apparently looking to return to TV and radio on a major level. So it looks like everything's over, and we can move on with our lives. Enter Al Sharpton. And enter another lawsuit.

The quest to find good music is one that can be extremely rewarding, and is highly exciting. Coming across a great artist is something that you will only find so often, and it's been awhile since we've come across anything special.. although the last band (and I'm not saying who it is, because they're just too good, I'll only tell you if I like you enough and can trust you won't spread it to those that will disgrace it) has proven to be absolute magic. I present to you, here, an invitation to get the album Angular Perceptions, by the band Thought Chamber. It's really nothing remarkable - seems to be standard progressive rock, and it's already slipped into the background as I type this, but it is a new, and talented artist. Soulseek, username: the truth is out there - Good music, but nothing new.

I went to the reunion game today of the 1995-1996 Florida Panthers team.. it was a lot of fun. Took a bunch of pictures, and a few videos. They're.. here. Along with pictures that others submitted (I'm Nine Cats).. and speaking of Nine Cats, it's about time for a reminder. (:
Nine Cats Myspace. I'm going to put a new song up there sometime next week. Maybe it'll be worth a listen?

There's some new stuff on a number of bands that you can read, should you follow the link below. I'll update it and add if necessary, or more likely, if I feel like it.

The Panthers have signed Richard Zednik (2 years, $3.2,5M) Brett McLean (3 years, $5.1M) and Radek Dvorak (?, ?).
